Team Leader
This is a very special job! It is an opportunity to have fun, be creative and learn about yourself while you help someone else.

At the Washoe Arc, we provide supports to adults with developmental disabilities helping them build skills in areas such as daily living, communication, recreation and leisure, vocational and job procurement.

We are looking for energetic and caring individuals interested in making a difference in the lives of others. Employees must be able to run programs, collect data, write progress notes and complete annual assessments for the people in their group.

While experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, training is available for the right candidate.

Part Time:

• Mon – Fri 9:30 – 2:30 (20 hours per week)
• $9.50 per hour - starting wage

Full Time:

• Mon – Fri 8:00 – 4:00 (37.5 hours per week)
• $8.50 per hour - starting wage
• Vacation time - 15 days of vacation accrued per year
• Sick leave - employees accrue 1 day per month
• Paid holidays - Will include these days when the fall on weekdays

Employment Consultant
This is the perfect job for a charismatic person who enjoys helping other succeed.

While assisting in the job search, Washoe Arc’s Employment Consultants (Job Coaches) work closely with job seekers and employers to ensure that a position is a good fit before a placement is ever made.

Once a match is found, Employment Consultants provide ongoing support to both the employer and the employee to create a win-win situation. From hands on training, to transportation coordination and wardrobe advice, Employment Consultants do it all. The results: employees get a good paying job where they are respected for the work they perform and employers get hard working dedicated employees who love their job!

Simply put, always just a phone call away, Employment Consultants are there to help, whatever the need.

Part Time:

• 20 – 29 hours per week/ flexible hours
• $10.00 per hour - starting wage

Full Time:

• 30 – 40 hours per week/ flexible hours
• $10.00 per hour - starting wage

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 6 month probationary period
• Clean DMV printout and FBI background check upon hire

Thrift Store Sales Associate
Washoe Arc is looking for part-time Sales Associates for our Thrift Retail Stores. We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people that enjoy working in a casual environment.
